Eventry is a minimal event day-tracking app. Your privacy is a core principle of how it was built.
We collect no personal data.
Eventry does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any information about you or your usage of the app.
All events you create — including titles, dates, icons, and colors — are stored entirely on your device using local storage. This data never leaves your device unless you explicitly choose to export it yourself.
Your data is also shared with the Eventry widget extension on your device via an App Group, which allows your home screen widgets to display your events. This is a local, on-device operation and does not involve any servers or third parties.
Eventry allows you to export your events as a CSV file and import events from CSV files. These operations are performed entirely on your device. Exported files are only shared if you choose to do so using iOS's standard share sheet, and Eventry has no involvement in or knowledge of where you send them.
Eventry makes network requests to techwithtalal.com to fetch the following: a list of available icons for the icon picker, the privacy policy link, the terms of use link, and the version history. No personal data, event data, or device identifiers are sent as part of these requests. Standard web server logs on techwithtalal.com may record your IP address, as is common with any web request.
Eventry contains no analytics, no tracking, no crash reporting services, and no advertisements.
Eventry does not use any third-party SDKs, frameworks, or services that collect data.
Eventry does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children under the age of 13.
While we take reasonable steps to keep your data secure, Eventry cannot be held liable for any loss of locally stored data. By using the app, you acknowledge and accept that data loss may occur. Additionally, deleting the app will permanently delete all data stored within it.
If this policy is updated, the new version will be posted at this URL with an updated date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
